GFM advises Lycopodium on the acquisition of Saxum Group

GFM Abogados (GFM) acted as lead legal advisor in a recent transaction pursuant to which Lycopodium Limited (ASX: LYL), an Australian company with operations in Australia, Canada, USA, Brazil, Perú, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Ghana and  Philippines, acquired Saxum Group with headquarters in Argentina y subsidiaries in Brazil y USA.

Saxum Group provides multidiscipline engineering services and project management, to mineral, cement and lime process, manufacturing and infrastructure, oil and gas.

The transaction, structured in three stages, had its first successful closing, which involved complex legal coordination through multiple jurisdictions. This transaction was led by the GFM team, which executed and coordinated the global process.

Saxum Group was represented by Giatti, Alonso, Michel & Cáceres through its partner Santiago Michel and John Wise as an independent professional.

Lycopodium was represented by GFM Abogados, through Partners Mariano Gonzalez, Pablo Melhem and Santiago Soutullo and Associate Mariano Maida.
